Hey everyone, just a reminder that the July meeting is canceled so we
can all prep for the 4th on Friday.

I know allot of people are already out of town but to those around,
have a great 4th!  See you in August.

The June meeting will be held on Wednesday June 4th at 6:30 PM.

For the June meeting Tami Jo will be here to give her long awaited talk on tattoos. She’ll be talking about where this all started and some cool trends that are going on today. She’ll have some pics of stuff she’s done and things she likes. The title of the talk is “I will cut you”. My new favorite part of this talk is the live demonstration. Oh yea, this is how we roll out here. Josh will be getting some updates. Should be really cool.

Come out for this one, it’s going to be fun.

We’ll also be talking starting to firm up the plans for the CTF event. Good discussion on this last month and here’s hoping we catch Derek this time?

What up 734!

Hope everyone had a great holiday, back into it! We’ve got some great sessions already planned for 2008. I’m really excited about some of the things we have planned.

The February meeting will be held on Wednesday 2/6 at 6:30 PM.

The first presentation of 2008 is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while. (Since I want a tattoo badly.) TJ will be presenting a session on the history and technology of tattooing. She’ll go over where this all started and some cool trends that are going on today. She’ll have some pics of stuff she’s done and things she likes. My favorite part of all is the title. I was talking to her about this a while back and thought the title was, “I can cut you” she recently corrected me saying, “It’s I WILL cut you, not I can cut you…”. Sorry sista, keeping it real. Anyway, come to this one, it will be fun.

Looking forward:

In March we’ll be welcoming back Steve Jaqua who will be hosting a gaming night. He’s unveiling the production version of Blasphemy and will be giving away a copy of it. (I still don’t know how he’ll determine the winner but be sure it won’t be me.) So the meeting will be another gaming night. Standard rules apply: Kugler will wander around from game to game and we’ll all target Kevin and lose.

In April our own JRC will present on WII mods. It’ll include some firmware hacking info as well as perhaps a demo of the WII in action. I’m totally killer on boxing.

We’ve begun planning for a Capture the Flag contest for the summer. Think you’re all that? We’ll see. Planning is at an early stage, if you’re interested in being part of the planning please email me offlist. Otherwise stay tuned for more info. This is going to be good.

Anyway, good to be meeting again. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
